Graham Lawrence and I are converting the RIBI template site from MSSQL to MySQL. Thought I’d share some screenshots from the admin area to whet your appetite!
Incorporating some new features into the design, in addition to modernising things (dumping the old html editor that wasn’t compatible with all browsers, for example).
The eagle-eyed amongst you will notice a much requested feature or two!

Impressive start Imust say and especially so in the timescale. The tabs are welcome as you say they declutter and generally make things more useable. I begin to like the idea of the District Officers showing within a Club site rather than expecting a visit to the District one – it may generate the traffic desired – needless to say I wait patiently to see what you will unveil in the other direction. As I said a very good start and I’m more than willing to assist in any way.

First impression very good- clean and uncluttered.
The editor looks much more comprehensive, though I can’t work out what all the icons will do.
Are you going to allow avariety of fonts and colours?
Look forward to seeing more!

Wow! With a bit of luck I might even persuade some of the other club members to actually start generating pages of their own with this.
I particularly like the concept that we might do away with the ‘my browser works better that yours’ issue.
Not that I am any good with SQL, but I used to have to test the stuff so by all means sign me up a guinea pig if you wish.

Looks like CKeditor which I have been building into my own user driven websites. However, it is still not simple enough for some, and what has got my users excited is an I-Frame page where I allow them to upload a PDF which can be scaled into the I-frame aperture – examples on http://www.spae.org/web2011/makepage.php?postid=1042 and http://www.sjevar.com/web2010/makepage.php?postid=1277
